Phonics for Reading

Phonics for Reading is an explicit, systematic phonics intervention designed for students who have not mastered foundational decoding skills. Grounded in the Science of Reading, the program focuses on helping older students, who may read below grade level, develop automatic word recognition, improve accuracy, and gain confidence as readers. Rather than reteaching “early literacy,” Phonics for Reading respects students’ age while addressing the root causes of reading difficulty through direct, efficient instruction.
